  • Environmental toxicology of all major contaminant groups.

  • Ecological risk assessment in aquatic and terrestrial systems. 

  • Analysis and interpretation of organochlorine pesticide, metals,  radionuclide and hydrocarbon  concentrations in soils, plants and wildlife, particularly in the Canadian Arctic

  • Advanced statistical analysis for source identification of hydrocarbons and organochlorine contaminant residues.

  • Working with northern communities to develop research projects on the environmental quality in their communities, particularly regarding their traditional foods.  

  • Literature and document reviews in several areas of science.
